How it is calculated

Positions come from NASA JPL’s DE442 ephemeris via Skyfield, in the tropical zodiac with Placidus houses. Horary judgments follow William Lilly’s Christian Astrology (1647) and reproduce 14 of his 17 published charts; the three misses are documented. The AI interprets the chart and never does the astronomy. Astrology is offered for reflection and planning, not as science and not as medical, legal or financial advice.

It computes your full birth chart from the JPL DE442 ephemeris (tropical zodiac, Placidus houses) and turns it into tools: a daily letter, a ranked map of where to live, a horary decision engine, a chart-grounded AI you can ask questions, relationship charts in four modes, and a daily wellness rhythm.
Is Shymea free?
Yes to start. Your complete birth chart, the daily Signature card, three Bond comparisons, Life Map scans (ranks 10–20), five AI questions a month and your wellness blueprint are free. Premium unlocks every daily card, the forecasts and advanced techniques, the full Life Map leaderboard and unlimited bonds. Reports and horary questions are bought individually by anyone.
Which devices is Shymea on?
Shymea is on the App Store for iPhone. The Android version has been submitted to Google Play and is in review; a web app follows. Leave your email on the home page and we will tell you the moment each opens.
How is Shymea different from Co–Star, The Pattern or CHANI?
Those apps read your chart to you. Shymea calculates first and interprets second, and it builds tools no grossing astrology app offers: a ranked 390-city relocation map, William Lilly horary with the judging rule shown, Bond in Partners/Friends/Family/Work modes, and an AI that cites the placements and dates behind every answer. Is my birth data private?
Private by design. Reports tokenize your name before any AI sees them, and the AI receives derived chart placements — never your raw birth date, time or place. There is no social feed and no public profile.
