Shymea, for the record.

Shymea is a Western astrology app and website that reads your whole birth chart, computed from the JPL DE442 ephemeris, instead of a Sun-sign paragraph.

Boilerplate

Shymea is a Western astrology app for iOS and a free website that read a person's complete birth chart rather than their Sun sign. Planetary positions are computed with the Skyfield library from NASA JPL's DE442 ephemeris in the Tropical zodiac with Placidus houses, and the same engine drives daily chart-aware guidance, consent-based compatibility between two charts, a chart-aware AI assistant, astrocartography across 390 cities, horary judged by William Lilly's rules, and PDF reports. The website publishes free calculators, transit calendars, a 36-chapter course and an editorial journal. Shymea Private Limited was founded in December 2024. Shymea works in Western astrology only.

Story angles we can support with data

Computed, not generated. Every placement comes from the ephemeris before any interpretation is written; Study 01 publishes the comparison.
Horary by the book. Questions are judged house by house from Lilly’s 1647 rules, with the considerations shown before the verdict. See the horary guide.
Where to live, by chart. Relocated charts for 390 cities; the astrocartography hub explains the method.
Free tools, no sign-up. The birth chart calculator and 14 calculators run without an account; the Moon phase widget can be embedded on any site.
Dates, to the minute. Mercury retrograde, ingresses and lunations for 2026 and 2027.
