Virgo Horoscope TodayTuesday, 27 October 2026
The day's Moon, in Taurus for Tuesday 27 October, falls in the 9th house from Virgo. Its subject: in-laws and the family you married into. The contact that matters most for you is the Moon's opposition to Mercury in your 3rd house at , which brings in what you read, write and learn in short bursts.
Virgo today, house by house
A 9th-house Moon gives feeling to ideas. You may argue harder than usual for what you believe, and you may be right; just check whether the argument is about the subject or about being heard. Teaching, writing and learning go well today.
Gemini gets the Moon at , so your 10th house is the one to read from then on.
- The Moon opposes Mercury in your 3rd house (neighbours and the street you live on). Expect a crossed wire or a misread message, and check before you reply.
- The Moon squares Jupiter: publishing, teaching and broadcasting and work done out of sight, in your 12th house, want different things. The bigger plan clashes with the practical one.
From to the Moon is void of course. The old rule is that what begins then comes to little, while what gets finished stays finished.
Where the Moon goes next
Looking a day or two ahead, the Moon enters Cancer, your 11th house, on . With the Moon in your 11th house, a friend's mood can set yours. Group plans move quickly and may change twice. Say yes to the invitation that costs little and offers a new face, and skip the one that is only habit.
Mercury today: the ruler of Virgo
Your ruler Mercury sits at 20°11′ Scorpio, the 3rd house counted from Virgo, moving backwards through the sign. A ruler in the 3rd favours short trips, quick decisions and a full inbox. It does not favour long silences. For about three weeks old messages and old contacts come back, and delays in post and travel are the traditional cost. Its next move comes on 30 October, when it squares Mars in your 12th house.
Virgo this week: 27 October to 2 November 2026
- Friction is useful only if it gets something done. Mercury's square to Mars puts strain between messages, calls and the inbox, in your 3rd house, and dreams and the half-formed ideas that come with them, in your 12th.
- The Moon is half lit and shrinking at 9°26′ Leo, your 12th house: review rest, sleep and time alone before the next New Moon.

Uranus in your 10th house changes your direction: a new career, a new kind of authority, a sudden exit from a role that no longer fits. In Gemini until 3 August 2032. It turns direct on 8 February 2027.
Neptune in your 8th house makes joint finances hazy. Read the terms, keep records, and choose carefully who you trust with money. In Aries until 21 May 2038. Retrograde until 12 December.
Pluto in your 6th house overhauls how you work and look after yourself. Bad habits become impossible to ignore, and better ones stop being optional. It moves on from Aquarius on 8 March 2043.
