Chiron and travel

- Write down three beliefs you have dropped and one you have kept.
Virgo and Taurus are both earth signs, and for you Taurus fills the 9th: long journeys, higher education, faith, philosophy and the big picture. Chiron arriving here tends to raise questions about meaning.
Virgo risers are often brilliant with details and hard on themselves about them. The 9th house Chiron theme is the other end of the telescope: belief. Maybe a faith you were raised in and left. Maybe a degree you never finished, or a sense that you are not clever enough for the conversations you want to be in.
With Taurus involved, the answers tend to be grounded. Not a sudden conversion, more a slow working-out of what you actually think is true. Many people take up a course, a language or a pilgrimage-style trip during a 9th house transit. Taurus suggests doing it at a pace that lets you enjoy the food along the way.
Going deeper
You are allowed to be a beginner again.
The 9th house is also about teachers, and Chiron is the teacher in myth. Some Virgo risers find themselves teaching during these years: formally, or simply by passing on what they know. Others go back to being a student and find it less frightening than they remembered.
If the old wound is about not being taken seriously, this is a gentle time to find a room where you are.
Your timeline
From shared money to travel, then career
Virgo rising meets this transit through the 9th house, the far horizon. First contact is Jun 19, 2026. On Sep 18, 2026 Chiron slides back into Aries, which is your 8th house of debts, intimacy and the things you share with another person, so a loose end there may resurface over the winter of 2026. From Apr 14, 2027 the long stay begins: degrees, pilgrimages, publishing, a faith you outgrew or one you want back. Chiron makes its first pass into your 10th on Jul 19, 2033 and departs Taurus completely on May 5, 2034.
Your 10th house comes next, so the beliefs you rebuild in these years tend to become public work.
Quick answers
Is it a good time to go back to school?
Many astrologers would say the 9th house supports study. The real answer depends on your time, money and goals.
What does the 9th house have to do with healing for Virgo rising?
The 9th house covers belief, higher learning and long journeys, the places you go to make sense of life. Virgo risers often carry a strict inner rulebook. Chiron here tends to test those rules and invite a philosophy that is kinder and more practical.
Is Chiron in Taurus good for travel as a Virgo rising?
Travel is a classic 9th house theme, so trips during these years can carry more meaning than usual. Taurus favours slow travel: staying longer in one place, walking, eating locally. Whether to go is a practical decision, not an astrological one.
