With Gemini rising, Gemini is the 1st house in a whole-sign chart, so Uranus spends the whole transit in the house of the body, the face you show, your temperament and the way you begin anything. Uranus conjunct the Ascendant in daily life: imagined cases
Say a Gemini rising man has worn his hair, clothes and glasses the same way since university. In the months Uranus crosses his Ascendant he changes all three within a season, and the difference is that it feels like a correction rather than an experiment. Changes in appearance are the most ordinary sign of this transit and the easiest to dismiss, but for the 1st house they are the transit.
Or a Gemini rising woman known to everyone as the reliable deputy, the one who keeps the office running, leaves the role she was defined by. It need not be dramatic. She asks for a different job title, then a different job, and finds that people respond to her differently once she stops introducing herself as somebody's support.
