Uranus in Gemini for Scorpio Rising: seven years of rewiring what you share

Uranus first entered Gemini on 7 July 2025 and stayed until 8 November 2025, then went back into Taurus, your 7th house, until 26 April 2026. Those four months were a preview. Uranus had been in your 7th, the house of partners and contracts, since 2019, so the 2025 dip was the first time the attention moved from who you are with to what you share with them. Whatever surfaced about joint money or trust between July and November 2025 is the clearest guide you have to what the main transit is about.

The main stay began on 26 April 2026 and runs to 3 August 2032, when Uranus enters Cancer, your 9th. It comes back into Gemini from 12 December 2032 to 22 May 2033 for a closing pass over the last degrees. At the time of writing (October 2026) it is retrograde, having stationed on 10 September 2026 at 5°42′ Gemini; it turns direct on 8 February 2027 at 1°41′. Each year it gains about four and a half degrees, so the transit moves through the 8th house slowly enough that most whole degrees are crossed three times.

If you know your Ascendant degree, the date that matters most is when Uranus reaches the same degree of Gemini. Gemini sits 150° from Scorpio, so that is a quincunx to your Ascendant: an awkward, adjusting contact rather than a crisis. Say you and a partner have run one current account for nine years, and only one of you ever opens the statements. Under Uranus in the 8th the other one opens them. Nothing has to be wrong for this to matter: the shock is the discovery that the arrangement rested on not looking. Within a year the account is split, or it is shared properly, with both names on every decision. Either way the old version does not come back.

Suppose the 8th house matter is a sibling's, which is the Gemini colouring. A brother's debt becomes partly yours because you signed as guarantor years ago and forgot. Or a sister asks you to co-sign, and you notice for the first time that you have always been the family's reserve fund. Scorpio rising often keeps that role quietly. This transit tends to bring it into a conversation, usually by message first.

Or picture the intimate side of the house. A long relationship where closeness was assumed rather than discussed meets a period when one of you needs more independence, or more honesty, than the arrangement allowed. Uranus in the 8th does not have to end the bond. It changes the terms, and for a sign as private as Scorpio the hardest part is that the new terms have to be said out loud.

For Scorpio rising, Uranus rules Aquarius, which is your 4th house of home and family, so the 8th house changes are tied to where you live and who you live with: a sale, an inheritance of a property, a parent's finances becoming your concern. Your modern chart ruler, Pluto, is in Aquarius in your 4th house for the whole of this transit, and Uranus trines it five times: 18 July 2026, 29 November 2026, 15 June 2027, 13 January 2028 and 10 May 2028 (exact, UTC, at 3°–9° of the signs). A trine between the planet transiting your 8th and the planet that rules your chart is the most supportive thing in this picture. It tends to make changes at home and changes in shared money happen together, and more easily than either would alone.

• If you were born between November 1981 and February 1988, you have natal Uranus in Sagittarius, your 2nd house, and transiting Uranus in your 8th opposes it: your Uranus opposition falls straight across the money axis, your own income against what you share.

Uranus enters Cancer on 3 August 2032, retreats into Gemini from 12 December 2032 and leaves for good on 22 May 2033. Cancer is your 9th house, so the attention moves from what you share to what you believe, study and travel for. The 8th house work does not undo itself when Uranus leaves. The accounts that were split stay split; the closeness that was renegotiated stays on its new terms.

What a Scorpio rising person tends to keep from these years is a different relationship to disclosure. The sign likes to hold information in reserve.
