How this is calculated

Your natal Jupiter longitude is computed for your birth instant in the Tropical zodiac, with the house taken from Placidus cusps when a birth time is given. The engine then steps through Jupiter's geocentric position year by year and refines each crossing of the natal degree to the day. When a retrograde loop crosses the degree more than once, the listed date is the pass the engine resolves for that return.
