Void-of-Course Moon: now and the next seven days.
Whether the Moon is void of course right now, and every void period in the coming seven days with its start, end, length, the last aspect the Moon made and the sign it enters next. Times are shown in your own timezone. The periods come from the Shymea engine's precomputed void-of-course table, refreshed daily.

The Moon is void of course from its last major aspect to a classical planet until it enters the next sign. Periods run from a few minutes to over a day, and there is roughly one every two and a half days.
Electional astrology avoids starting things during a void; horary treats a void Moon as a sign that a matter will not develop. Neither claim is tested here; the tool shows the times.
How this is calculated
For each sign the Moon passes through, the engine finds its last exact conjunction, sextile, square, trine or opposition to the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn, using the JPL DE442 ephemeris. The void period runs from that aspect to the Moon's ingress into the next sign. The Moon's longitude is geocentric, so the periods are the same everywhere; only the displayed clock time changes with your timezone.
Common questions
- Do the outer planets count?
- Not in the classical definition used here, which stops at Saturn. Some modern astrologers include Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, which makes void periods shorter and rarer.
- Why are my times different from another calendar?
- Usually the planet set or the timezone. Check whether the other source includes the outer planets, and whether it shows UTC or local time.
- How long can a void last?
- From minutes to more than a day. Long voids happen when the Moon makes its last aspect early in a sign; short ones when a planet sits late in a sign the Moon is leaving.
